Updates to Border Measures for Incoming Travellers to Singapore
27 October 2021
From 26 October 2021, 2359 hours (Singapore time), all travellers entering or transiting through Singapore from India (i.e., currently classified under Category IV) will no longer need to undergo an on-arrival Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
However, all travellers from India will still need to present a valid COVID-19 PCR negative test taken within 48 hours before their departure to Singapore. It is a pre-requisite before passengers are allowed to board their flights to Singapore.
They will also be required to present their valid COVID-19 negative PCR test result upon arrival in Singapore. Upon arrival, all travellers from India are also required to serve a 10-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) at dedicated SHN facilities. They will also have to undergo an end of SHN exit PCR test.
